How are BodyMapping/Bodyworks beneficial?

The modality system can be used successfully for: 

  1. Pain and alignment issues received in a trauma event, such as a sporting accident, fall or, car accident.  
  2. Muscle groups that are over- or under- developed resulting in joint instability which can cause limited range of motion or weakness in the body.
  3. Repetitive motion issues brought on by work or training activities.
  4. Genetic or birthing postural issues such as scoliosis.
  5. Chronic foot pain of all kinds.

What benefits do Bodymapping and Bodyworks offer?

  • A better understanding of  why your body is  experiencing pain and/ or limited  range of movement.
  • A visual map that illustrates how weight moves through your body.
  • An explanation of how or why mis-alignment has occurred.
  • An understanding of how the feet influence many of the postural alignment issues. 
  • A realignment  of your body, thus reducing or eliminating chronic pain.

How long are the sessions?

  • BodyMapping sessions are one hour .
  • Bodyworks sessions are one and a half hours.
  • Combo sessions are one and a half hours.

What do I wear?

  • Women wear bras/ sports bras and underwear for a session
  • Men must wear shorts of some kind

Is there anything I should do the day before my session?

The best thing a client can do before a treatment is to drink lots of water.

What can I expect after the session?  Most commonly clients say they are:  

  • thirsty and hungry
  • sleepy
  • having muscle soreness from being aligned (usually lasts for a couple of days)
  • experiencing balance issues that may last for for a couple days
